10:28 < andyd> I wrote the IPv6 PI policy, at the time that the policy was written there was little appetite to allow end-user connections out of IPv6 PI but it's worth considering whether it's time now to allow it. Not having the policy allowing ISPs to get their own v6 PI was hurting so we scratched the itch that hurt most at the time. The reason IXPs have their own policy for v6 PI is because their peering lan is for assigning to third parties and wouldn't be allowed by
10:29 < Saloumeh_RIPENCC> @andyd, Do you want me to read this out?

10:35 < andyd> the conversation seems to have moved on Saloumeh, if during the Q&A there are questions about IPv6 PI then maybe it would be appropriate at that point.
10:36 < Saloumeh_RIPENCC> Slvis is asking for any questions/comments during the presentation
10:38 < Saloumeh_RIPENCC> @andyd. That is fine. Please tell me your name and organisation

10:56 < Saloumeh_RIPENCC> and any comments on Limit the Non-LIRs to a maximum /40? Or maximum /32?
10:58 < OLAF4-RIPE> Olaf Sonderegger/Abraxas about "Not becoming LIR": There are a lot of organisation, which aren't able to be a LIR, because they don't have the knowledge to understand whole RIPE policies. So, they need a Sponsoring LIR to help them.
10:59 < OLAF4-RIPE> But, they want to have their own IPv6 block.
10:59 < murb> you can be a member and get PI.
11:00 < OLAF4-RIPE> If you want to be member, you have to understand RIPE policies and fullfill them by ourself.
11:00 < OLAF4-RIPE> yourself
11:01 < Saloumeh_RIPENCC> @Olaf4-ripe> do yuo want me to your comments?
11:02 < OLAF4-RIPE> Wait.. i want to listen to current speaker..

11:18 < OLAF4-RIPE> @Saloumeh: Discussion is too fast, so I will take my points into mailinglist.
11:20 < Saloumeh_RIPENCC> @OLAF4-RIPE: that is fine. Thanks for the clarification
11:21 < Saloumeh_RIPENCC> Gert is continuing
11:23 < Saloumeh_RIPENCC> Gert is asking for the feedback on if we want the principle of the abandoning PI and PA with the consequence of having members and non-members basically doing the same thing?
11:25 < Saloumeh_RIPENCC> If you have a question or comment, I can read it out for you. Please make your questions as clear as possible and please tell me your name and organisation
11:30 -!- brian [~bnisbet@193.1.233.70] has quit [Quit: Leaving]
11:33 < OLAF4-RIPE> Raising my hand: Olaf Sonderegger/Abraxas: Why don't remove PI only, if organisations want addresses, they have to be RIPE member. So, we could go ahead with policy proposal but remove Sub-Allocation/End Site definition.
11:34 < OLAF4-RIPE> Based on last year decision, costs to be a RIPE member sank.
